I took these on the roof of our apartment (Koreans call it a "villa"). It's the effect of condensation and the centrifugal force caused by the spinning ventilation chute cover. You can see the icicle is tilted outward and doesn't fall straight down. It was at about 8.45 AM, after a night which saw the mercury drop about 6 degrees below zero (my guess). As we are on the top floor of the building, this blighter can be heard whirring and groaning in windy weather. I shot a video of this boring rooftop for other southern hemisphere types who know jack about these sorts of weather conditions.
Alright, the real point of this post is to let you know just how little I get out. Trot over to our youtube channel to see a really boring video (no skiing yet). We are thinking about taking in a movie today.

It's just such a shame that Six Apart folks are so aggressively pushing the sign up drive. I kept hoping that sign up would not be required eventually.
